Welcome to Year 6!

Year 6 are taught by Miss Bacon. We have TA support from Mr Cottom, Mrs Nurse and Mrs Elford.  B2 Coaching (Mr Guildford) delivers two PE lessons a week on Wednesday and Thursday.  

📚 Home Learning

Homework is set on a Friday and is due back the following Friday. If children are not sure what homework to complete, it can be found on the notice board in the classroom. If your child is unsure how to complete the homework, please let me know as soon as possible so that I can support them in school. 

🏃🏼 PE

PE days are Tuesday*, Wednesday and Thursday. The children should wear their PE kits to school on these days. If your child attends an after school club, they must wear their school uniform to school and bring the required kit to change into at the end of the school day. 

*In the Autumn term we also have an additional sporting session with Time to Shine Cricket to offer Year 6 with a range of sporting opportunities alongside supporting the local community.

Year 6 SATs 

Year 6 SATs will take place between Monday 12 May to Thursday 15 May 2025. More information for parents will be provided in the parents meeting taking place in September.
