Topic
Our topic this term has been "Growing and Life-cycles". We have lots of fun, observing our caterpillars grow into butterflies, plant vegetables and flowers in our Foundation Garden and we took part in lots of activities based around the story of Jack and the Beanstalk, we even had a visit from the Giant who left us lots of clues! Foundation even wrote their own stories about Rainbow the Robin, who doesn't know what to eat from the food chain in his garden because all he inspects and animals all have a purpose! We also plan to visit The Birmingham Botanical Gardens and explore a range of plants grown all over the world and find plants which make sugar, chocolate, coco beans etc...
