Welcome to Year 3!
Year 3 are taught by Mrs Martin, supported by Mrs Cadman, Mrs Capel, Miss Davies and Mrs Thomson. B2 Coaching deliver one of their PE sessions on Wednesday and Love Music Trust deliver the music curriculum on Wednesday.
📚 Home Learning
Reading
Reading records and books are checked and changed on Monday. Reading should be recorded in your child's reading record 4 times a week. Your child can choose to read a book of choice once their school reading book has been completed. The local library has a wealth of books to choose from to encourage your child to arbour a love of reading.
Maths
TT Rockstars
TT rockstars should be accessed daily. Your child will have a specific login to access the site. Each half term, there will be timetables set tailored for each child. Your child will complete a weekly timetables assessment known as Timestable Tracker.
At times, your child may be set additional Maths work to support learning in class.
Spelling
Spellings will be sent out each half term with spelling tests taking place on Monday. Please ensure pupils practise spellings at home.
🏃🏼 PE
PE days are Wednesday and Friday. Wednesday is taught by Mr Guildford through B2 Coaching and Friday by Mrs Martin. Children should come into school wearing their PE kit on those particular days. If your child attends an after school club, they must wear their school uniform to school and bring the required kit to change into at the end of the school day.
