Welcome to Year 1!

Year 1 are taught by Mrs Carney with TA support from Mrs Griffiths. On a Monday afternoon, Year 1 are taught by Mrs Griffiths and have a music lesson delivered by Love Music Trust.

📚 Home Learning

Reading records and books are checked and changed on Monday.

Please see the homework tab below for more information about our maths home learning focus.

Little Wandle home learning sheets will be sent home weekly, to support the phonics sessions happening in school.

🏃🏼 PE

PE days are Monday and Friday. The children should wear their PE kits to school on these days. If your child attends an after school club, they must wear their school uniform to school and bring the required kit to change into at the end of the school day. 

💬 Communication
 

If you need to speak to Mrs Carney then you can do so either at the end of the day, if it is a quick query or by writing a message in your child's planner. Planners with a message in should be placed on Mrs Carney's desk to be responded to, so please remind your child of this upon their arrival at school.
