Yoga mindfulness
Sandbach library visit - We visited the library to look at maps and images of Sandbach to support our geography learning and to have time for ‘reading for pleasure’.

Comparing rocks physical appearance in Science
Catalyst Science Discovery Museum
We visited the Catalyst Science Discovery Museum to learn about rocks and fossils. We even had the chance to make our own fossils to bring back to school. We learned that there are many different types of rocks and explored some that we had not previously seen in our science lessons. We also enjoyed the many interactive activities in the gallery. We were fascinated by the iron filling activity and we made links to our prior learning about magnets. Another favourite activity was the Animate Me station, where we could make our own animations which is part of our current computing learning. We wrote recounts about our visit in our writing lessons. We were so excited to write about the day as we had the best day ever!
Rugby Festival at Sandbach RUFC
Sale Sharks delivered some Tag rugby sessions for Year 3. To celebrate the end, we were invited to a Rugby festival at Sandbach Rugby club. We spent the day applying the skills we have learnt in our PE lessons with Matt to lots of different events and activities.
