Welcome to Year 1!

Year 1 are taught by Mrs Ashley and supported by Mrs Griffiths. On a Thursday, Year 1 are taught by Mrs Griffiths and have a PE lesson delivered by All Stars.

📚 Home Learning

Reading records and books are checked and changed on Monday. 

Please read with your child 4 times at home and record this in their reading records. Children who do this will earn themselves a superstar dojo! 

Little Wandle home learning sheets will be sent home weekly, to support the phonics sessions happening in school.

🏃🏼 PE

PE days during Autumn 2 are Thursday and Friday. The children should wear their PE kits to school on these days. If your child attends an after school club, they must wear their school uniform to school and bring the required kit to change into at the end of the school day. 

💬 Communication
 

Communication can take many forms. If you have a quick query, this can be done at drop off or at the end of the day. You can write a note in the planner, which will be checked daily by an adult, or you can make an appointment through our admin@elworthhall.cheshire.sch.uk email address. Mark it for the attention of Mrs Ashley and it will be redirected. Please note we have a 48 hour turn around on emails.
