During Outdoor Maths Week, Foundation Class looked at the artist "Kandinsky" and recreated our own pictures using 2d shapes. We identified, named, created patterns and learnt how to draw circles, triangles, squares and rectangles. We took our learning outside where the children re-created Kandinsky style art work, practiced drawing shapes, created patterns and made 2d shapes using natural materials.
