Open Days

We are pleased to announce that we will be running Open Day sessions, across 2 days for September 2023 intake, as below;

The sessions are open to parents/carers of prospective Foundation Class 2023 starters only and will take place in intervals of 30 minutes.

4th October : 9:30am - 10:00am - fully booked

4th October : 10:00am - 10:30am - fully booked

4th October : 10:30am - 11:00am - fully booked

20th October : 1:30pm - 2:00pm - fully booked

20th October : 2:00pm - 2:30pm - fully booked

20th October : 2:30pm - 3:00pm - fully booked

Places will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis, so please email Miss Hassall on admin@elworthhall.cheshire.sch.uk to book as soon as possible.

To book your place, we will require; an email address, a phone number and your child's name.

Please do not attend if you are displaying any COVID symptoms.

School Starting Age

If your child was born between 1 September 2018 and 31 August 2019, they will be eligible to start school in September 2023.

Most children will start school in the September, after they are 4 years old. Children reach compulsory school age at the start of the term after their 5th birthday. If you wish to delay your child starting school, you must contact Cheshire East Council directly.  

You will have until January of the same calendar year that they are due to start, to apply for your child's school place.

1st September 2022 - Applications process opens

15th January 2023 - Applications closing date - any applications made after this date, may be disadvantaged.

17th April 2023 - Allocated school place offers will be sent out to parents

2nd May 2023 - Deadline for parent/carer to accept or refuse the place offered

17th May 2023 - Deadline for appealed applications
